Loved this cozy, authentic, family-owned & operated arboretum (Grandpa & Granddaughter were running it the day we visited ❤️). All of the 3,000+ plants were labeled, and organized in this wonderful, oasis. Loved the enclosed green house, "Cactarium" with tons or gorgeous cacti varieties. Founded in 1938. Wear walking shoes & dress appropriately, you follow a dusty, uneven trail. Loving my 5 purchased cacti that i brought back to NJ!! Well worth a few hours of your day - Enjoy!

I had an incredible time at the Morten Botanical Garden. I was really impressed with every twist and turn of the gardens path. It’s hard to believe that so many of these amazing plants are all so close together and living in harmony. The cactarium is stunning as well. The admission is $5 dollars and they have a nice selection of cuttings from plants and pottery for sale if you are interested. It’s such a peaceful spot, I am very glad that I went!

I absolutely loved the Moorten Botanical Garden! It’s a great spot to relax and meander through all of the succulents and drought tolerant plants. They even have a couple of adorable tortoises! At the end of the self-guided tour they have various succulents and things available for purchase. This is a fun little activity for the family.

A zen zone here at the Moorten Botanical Gardens! The cacti from various regions from Sonoran desert to all around the world. Winding paths and soaring succulents give you a sense of calming energy. If you take your time, you may be fortunate to spot a lizard sunning itself, and hummingbirds swirling by. Minerals such as malachite serpentine and petrified wood scatter the trail. It was an honor to stop by and visit these gardens in Palm Springs. Our thanks to the Moorten family!

Moorten is a small botanical garden that specializes in cacti and succulents. It includes the "world's first cactarium," an indoor collection of smaller cacti. The garden is also home to some desert tortoises, but since it was winter, they were hibernating. The entry fee is low ($5) and a visit is an hour well spent.

What an amazing collection of cacti and succulents. They seem to have plants from all over the world. And all for a very affordable entry price - $5.

If you have a fondness for plants, especially cacti 🌵, this place is a must-visit. They have a wide array of cactus varieties 🌵. It's not only enjoyable but also a great learning experience for kids. Each tree is labeled with its name, and you can even spot a big turtle 🐢 and various birds. They offer local artists' clay pots for sale, as well as different types of cacti. It's a small and simple spot, but well worth a visit for cactus enthusiasts.

This was a cute little Botanical garden in Palm Springs. You definitely have to visit if you're in town, and it's only $5. I'm a cactus lover, so I was in heaven 😁 it's well guided, and you can even purchase items at the end. I will definitely be returning.
